Synopsis:
Four
Shazran adolescents wake up in sorcerer King Nelno's fortress with no
memory of their past lives. They soon discover that they now belong to
the sorcerer king, who has erased their memories and is forcing them to
fight on his side, against their former friends and families. In a
peril-packed flight for freedom, they escape from the king, battle
against fierce beasts, and evade deadly traps using pure ingenuity and
reflex actions from their forgotten skills. Desperate for answers to
their endless questions, they seek out Spaea, the oracle of Mount Thari,
to find out how to defeat the sorcerer and free their crescent-shaped
country from his brutal rule.
But the
sorcerer king realises that a mistake he made as a youth has shortened
the remainder of his life to a matter of mere months - unless he can
finish drinking a potion for eternal life. Unwilling to let the four
adolescents’ insubordination disrupt his quest for immortality and
absolute power, he sends bounty hunters, cold iron fighters, and warlock
nimrods after them. The four youths befriend magical creatures, fight
valiantly against everything the king throws at them, and rediscover
startling fighting and magical abilities before they reach the oracle's
lair. Little do they know that the sorcerer king also seeks the oracle
Spaea, with questions on how to quash them.
